Create a classroom & invite students

Run a classroom from the Classroom page in your profile. Students join with an invite code, and everything they use — AI chat, realtime voice, and simulator time — is billed to your credits, within limits you set.

Create a classroom

  1. On your profile's Classroom page, open the Manage (Teacher) tab and click + Create Classroom.
  2. Enter a name and a default sponsor limit (default 10 credits), then accept the classroom terms and confirm you are at least 18 — classrooms are created by adults, who take responsibility for guardian consent.

You can run up to 10 classrooms per account.

Invite students

Share the invite code shown on the classroom card. Students join in one of two ways:

  • Profile → Classroom → Join (Student) — enter the code there.
  • At sign-in — students under the minimum age for a solo account (14 in most countries) can use PhysiCar AI only as classroom members: the sign-in screen asks them for an invite code and joins them on the spot.

A student belongs to one classroom at a time. Activate/deactivate the invite whenever you like (existing members are unaffected), or regenerate the code if it leaks — the old code stops working immediately.

Set limits & models

Control What it does
Default sponsor limit Spending cap for each student — whole credits, 0–10000 (1 credit = 1 USD)
Per-student limit Override the cap for individuals, or select several members and change it in bulk
Allowed chat models New classrooms start with a curated list; switch to allow-all (future models included), pick models one by one, or allow none to turn chat off

Costs

Student usage is deducted from your credits and counted against each student's sponsor limit. Students can keep working while their limit has room and your balance is positive — if your credits run out, students are blocked and their running simulators stop automatically. Classroom students cannot buy or gift credits themselves; their credits page shows usage against their limit instead.

Top up credits and review monthly usage / receipts in your profile.

Manage students

  • Kick removes students. A kicked student cannot rejoin with the same code — regenerate the invite code to let them back in.
  • If a student leaves or is kicked and later rejoins, their previous usage and limit are restored — rejoining does not reset a limit.
  • Close Classroom when a course ends: every student is removed at once and the classroom is archived. This cannot be undone; a closed classroom stays readable for member history.

Classroom worlds & evaluations

Classroom teachers can publish Custom World Builder worlds with classroom visibility — students see them right in the simulator's world list — and bundle an Evaluation so submissions are scored automatically.
